Overview

Paramount Electricals has manufactured transformers and rewound motors in Kashmir since 1999, with a factory at Barbar Shah and outlets in Srinagar, Jammu and Leh. I designed and built its website with Next.js as a full product catalogue, published price guide and quote system for an industrial business.

The challenge

Buying a transformer usually means phone calls, guesswork about the rating, and no idea of price until someone quotes. Paramount wanted to do the opposite: publish every design and rating with GST-inclusive prices, help customers work out the size they need, and make repair and rewinding as easy to request as a purchase.

The solution

I built the site on Next.js with React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, deployed on Vercel. The catalogue covers single phase and three phase transformers from 5 to 400 kVA, seven designs and 68 ratings, each with its published price. A kVA estimator lets customers add the appliances they'll run and get a live load estimate with a recommended rating. A quote list collects items across the catalogue, a command-style search finds products, services and outlets from the keyboard, and Call and WhatsApp buttons stay one tap away on mobile. Service pages for manufacturing, rewinding and motor repair, outlet pages, a factory gallery, guides and an FAQ round it out, in an editorial design with serif headlines and a warm industrial palette.
