Overview
Hotel City Residency is in Sonwar, central Srinagar, about 1.5 km from Dal Lake and close to Lal Chowk. I built its website as a full WordPress CMS, with room listings, rates, a restaurant menu and a blog the hotel manages itself.

The challenge
Independent hotels lose a large share of every booking to online travel agents. The hotel wanted a site that looked as good as the big booking platforms, showed real rooms and real prices, and let guests check availability and book directly.
The solution
I built the site on WordPress with WooCommerce, with an availability search (check-in, check-out, rooms, adults, children) placed in the hero and repeated down the page. Each room type (Deluxe, Super Deluxe, Triple Sharing and Family Suite) has its own page with occupancy, bed type, amenities and EP, CP and MAPI meal-plan rates. The hotel manages rooms, rates, menu, gallery and blog from the dashboard. A WhatsApp chat button and a Locate Us map link cover guests who'd rather talk first, the site supports English and French, and it runs on a cloud server with caching and optimised images so photo-heavy pages stay quick.
